Since I first played Myst back in 1997, I’ve come to realize in the past few years that, Myst is the best game I’ve ever played. My favorite game of all time.
Downloading and setting up DOSBox is easy these days, but it still has it’s issues. One issue I have encountered in DOSBox is getting the correct sound and video output from the game. Luckily, GOG is around and has preserved many DOS games. Even that has its occasional issues. Take Theme Hospital, for instance. The
I tried some retro gaming on the Archos 605 Wifi. It didn’t go so well. Media play controls and payback hold up surprisingly well. Though I ran into a catastrophic hardware failure, I did enjoy messing with this old media player from the mid 2000s.
